3:40 p.m.
Well I have not left for Nigeria and I am no longer at the airport. All flights to Nigeria have been cancelled until the general strike is over. I was speaking with My Lord Bishop Dunia and he says these general strikes usually last 2 to 3 days. So my plan is to reschedule as soon as the strike is over.
As Bishop Dunia has put it "God's time is the best. The Lord will make (my) trip possible on His appointed day without any hinderance..... God is in charge."
So I will continue to ask for prayers for the people of Nigeria that the strife which is affecting their every day lives will quickly end. And that those who are involved in this 'Holy war' realize that peace is much greater than war.

ReplyDeleteIt is said that God works in mysterios ways and in his time. You may never find out why you were meant to wait to begin your mission; but Bishop Dunia's words that God is in charge is a good reminder for when things are taken out of our control. I pray that God sends you on your way soon.
